Snooz-a-pa-ZOO-za Family Overnights
Our overnights are open to multiple families with children 6 – 17 years old, allowing them to come together to enjoy our overnight experiences. All children must be supervised by a guardian or parent, and the zoo requires one adult for every 4 children. Please note that most games and activities are geared towards families with children 6 – 12 years old though teens are welcome to attend.
The cost includes evening snacks, a continental breakfast, and admission to the zoo after the program ends on Saturday. Once registered, you will receive an electronic confirmation with details on items you and your family should bring along for this overnight adventure.
Participants sleep in a climate-controlled building. The zoo has no shower facilities. All children must be accompanied by an adult participant.
Snooz-a-pa-Zoo-za: Washed Ashore
Dates: 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14th through 10:00 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 15th.
Drift on in to get an up-close look at the Tulsa’s Zoo’s new exhibit, Washed Ashore! During Washed Ashore, we will discover how these magnificent sculptures are created. That night, we learn how the artists build their masterpieces, where all their art materials come from and how we can help the oceans, even here in Oklahoma. Later, you will let your creative tide flow while you form your own “Art to Save the Sea”. In the morning, you will sail through the zoo to see the art installations and have a special wave with a zookeeper. Look forward to exploring zoo trails, visiting zoo animals, playing special games, roasting marshmallows over a fire, and much more!
