Zoo Insider: Field Biology Workshop
Zoo Insider is a program that aims to give teens an inside look at what it’s like to work in a zoo while being fun and interactive. Each session will have an in depth focus on one of the many careers available in the zoo field.
During Zoo Insider: Field Biology Workshop, we will experience life in the field as a wildlife biologist! Aspiring scientists will get down and dirty conducting research on land, air and water! Our field team will spend each day studying plants and animals and learning tricks of the trade from our zoo researchers. Activities will include collecting plant specimens, tracking the movements of animals, and observing animal behavior.
Class is rain or shine and time will be spent outside, so please dress appropriately.
