Zoo Insider: Elephants

Zoo Insider is a program that aims to give teens an inside look at what it’s like to work in a zoo while being fun and interactive. Each session will have an in depth focus on one of the many careers available in the zoo field.

During Zoo Insider: Elephants, we will take a BIG look at why these enormous creatures are so intriguing. Pack your trunk and learn what it takes to care for the zoo’s largest residents. We will discover what and how much elephants eat, investigate the amazing elephant senses and explore what we can do to help conservation efforts to save majestic mammals. Come join the herd!

Class is rain or shine and time will be spent outside, so please dress appropriately.
