Nature’s Grand Adventures: Ecosystems

Share the wonder of nature with your grandchild in this choose-your-own-adventure style series! Grandparents and grandkids will rediscover nature in a way that brings old-school exploration together with today’s tech. Adventurers will enjoy hands-on learning experiences at the zoo while choosing which path their journey will take next.

During Nature’s Grand Adventures:  Ecosystems we will trek through the rainforest, go on a safari in Africa, and bundle up to venture into the Arctic all while staying at the Tulsa Zoo! From the northern hemisphere to the southern hemisphere every habitat is special and has its own unique animals to call that place home. Topics COULD include animal and plant adaptations, human and animal interactions, or nonliving components of habitats but it will be up to you to decide. Pairs will play games, enjoy themed activities, go on scavenger hunts, and create fun-filled memories that will last a lifetime. You will even meet a zoo animal at each class!

Everyone must come ready to play. Class is rain or shine and considerable time is spent outside, so please dress appropriately.

To ensure a fun, interactive learning experience, class size is limited to 8 child/adult pairs.  Registration is for ONE grandchild and ONE grandparent for all THREE classes in the series.

Ages
Grandchildren must be 5 to 12 years old. Grandparents can be any age!

Cost
$40 for non-members, 10% off for zoo members*!

Dates
1:00pm - 4:0 pm on February 2, 9 & 16 (All three classes included in one registration!)
